The key to writing an effective blog is to talk about subjects that you are passionate
about. For most real estate professionals, this means concentrating on what’s
going on in your market. You should be able to come up with a number of posts
talking about your recent experiences, your niche (if you have one) or changes
that are happening. Are you seeing the average DOM statistic steadily decreasing
for condos? Is the new sub-division relatively unsold and flooding your area
with inventory? Has the recent Fannie-Freddie news made it easier for buyers
in your area to get loans?
Writers
block can stop even the best author in their tracks, but
when you write about subjects that are important to you
and your community, the words will come out. Just remember,
the post should not only cater to your needs and interest,
but to your audience too.
