How is Ann Marie able to be so productive?

She relies on two main things: referrals and HomeGain.

“I just sold one house for $700k and another one for $480k, both as a result of HomeGain leads,” said Ann Marie. “That’s $30k revenue from only two transactions so far this month! 70% of my business is through HomeGain.”

“Am I fine with paying the referral fee? Yes! I am happy to pay for any and all referrals – so please send me referrals!”

Ann Marie has been a HomeGain AgentEvaluator member since 2001. She has been inducted into the HomeGain’s elite Platinum Club, which is comprised of agents who have earned a minimum of $125,000 in gross commissions from their HomeGain leads.

“Connecting with people on the Internet is the way business needs to be these days. That’s why AgentEvaluator is perfect for me.”

In the Maryland areas that Ann Marie covers through AgentEvaluator, she receives on average 3-5 leads per day.

Why does she think she gets selected over other agents? And why does she think she does well in real estate in general?

Speed.

“As soon as I see an email come in from a prospect, I immediately respond. I ask a lot of my clients why they selected me and they say, ‘You were the first to respond!’ I learned at the RE/MAX seminars and I’ve learned it through HomeGain that If you don’t get back within an hour (maximum), they’ll move on to the next agent.”

Equipped with her Blackberry in hand, Ann Marie continues, “The market is slow. Buyers think and think and think. Sometimes they have 17 real estate agents to choose from in AgentEvaluator. I have to make my proposal as good as possible, as quick as possible.”

“I’ve found AgentEvaluator very easy to use – I’ve made a few proposals and use them over and over, customizing on a need basis – and I get great results. I am not computer savvy but I used the HTML feature, which improved the way the proposals look.”

Please help, HomeGain!

How does the business history portion of AgentEvaluator work? I’m a veteran agent who has been with HomeGain for a few months but not getting any contact from buyers or sellers. I haven’t closed any HomeGain customers and therefore my business history is blank. How would a consumer know I’m a good agent and close 30 deals a year?

Dear Edgar,

The business history section is one of the most overlooked and crucial areas of AgentEvaluator. Consumers like to see what type of track record as an agent you have, and how busy you might be now.

Your business history should be a reflection of ALL of your transactions, not just your HomeGain customers. HomeGain customers will appear on the proposal automatically once you start closing deals but it’s up to you to enter your business history. Lastly, this information is a reflection of YOUR business history and not your entire company’s.

We had an agent last year who claimed she had over 5,000 deals in 2006 (her 600 agent company total) and had a hard time convincing customers she would have personal time for them. Once you get this updated, you will have better luck in getting in contact with your future customers.

HomeGain Announces AgentEvaluator “Silver Club”

Congratulations to all real estate agents being inducted into the new HomeGain AgentEvaluator Silver Club. The new designation soon to be awarded is effective April 1st.

Silver Club agents have consistently produced and closed business with HomeGain buyers and sellers, having earned total gross commissions of at least $50,000, and are, therefore, being recognized for their accomplishments.

As a Silver Club agent, members are entitled to a reduced referral fee of 25%, effective with closings resulting from new consumer profiles dated April 1, 2008 and beyond.

Silver Club winners will be notified on April 1 under a separate email and will be announced in the April Agent Success Newsletter.

HomeGain currently recognizes it’s top producing agents who have earned in excess of $125,000 in total gross commissions with membership in our Platinum Club. It’s sister club is HomeGain Gold for agents who have earned in excess of $75,000 in total gross commissions.
